Weddings
When booking a wedding with Tangerine Carousel Photography, you must agree to the conditions in the following contract. The contract must be completed and signed to reserve your day.
Agreement for Wedding Photography
The photographer will make available finished photographs for the client’s use via Google Drive. The client may request a flash drive copy of finished photographs for an additional $25 cost. A print release document will be provided at the request of the client to facilitate printing of the provided photographs.
The photographer will collect a down payment at the time of booking. The collected down payment will reserve appointment time and schedule. The down payment is non-refundable. The photographer must approve of any modification to appointment time to ensure proper scheduling prior to amendment of the appointment. Modifications must be requested 60 days prior to the existing scheduled date. The balance of the down payment will be applied to the client’s final bill.
RAW/unedited photos are the property of the photographer and will not be released.
The client shall assist and cooperate with the photographer in obtaining the requested photographs. Cooperation and reasonable assistance will include, but is not limited to, allowing the photographer unlimited access to venue and areas, specifying persons and/or scenes to be photographed, taking time to pose for photographs when directed by the photographer, designation of requested photographs at pre-shoot consultation, and wrangling of attendees.
The client will be expected to produce a list of desired poses and/or moments to be photographed. The photographer shall not be held responsible for missing photographs if the client did not produce an agreed upon list.
The photographer shall not be responsible for photographs not taken as a result of the client’s failure to provide reasonable assistance or cooperation. Lack of reasonable assistance is solely based upon the judgement of the photographer.
The photographer shall not be responsible for missed photographs if the circumstances are out of their control, i.e. if two opportunities are happening at the same time.
The client shall reimburse the Photographer for any additional charges incurred such as parking fees, travel expenses outside of the Treasure Valley, meal expenses, etc.
Final payment for the photographs will be expected at the start of the photographer’s appointment. Acceptable payment methods will include cash, check, money order or debit card. Card transactions will incur a 2% processing fee. Returned checks will be assessed a 50$ fee. All fees and payments must be resolved prior to the release of the photographs by the photographer. Refunds will not be issued for unused contracted time.
The Photographer retains copyright in the photographs, and hereby grants the Client unlimited but non-exclusive rights to use or reproduce the photographs for which the client pays. The photographer reserves the right to use the photographs in portfolios, advertisements, and social media.
Portrait Sessions
By booking a session with Tangerine Carousel Photography, you agree to the following terms.
No show policy/non-refundable deposit- A $25 non-refundable deposit must be made to reserve your session. The remainder of the session fee will be due at the session. Deposit is refundable only if the photographer needs to cancel for any reason other than weather. Full payment must be received before the editing process begins. Photos will not be delivered without the full payment.
RAW images will not be provided. RAW images are the property of the photographer and will not be released. All photos will be edited. The photographer will not deliver unedited photos.
Inclement Weather-Sessions may be rescheduled for inclement weather by either party but not cancelled. If the client wishes to cancel but not reschedule, deposit will not be returned.
Session length/late arrivals-Sessions are for one hour unless otherwise stated. Please be on time for your session. Your session may not spill into another client’s booked slot. Your tardiness will cut into your own session time and may not be made up. You will still be required to pay the full session fee if you are late. If the photographer is tardy, you will still receive your full session time.
Photos will be delivered via digital download within 7 business days of the session date. You must provide your email address to receive your photos. A thumb drive may be requested for an additional $25. Thumb drives will be mailed to you. The photographer will not meet with you to deliver the drive in person.
Amount of Photos-Client will not receive all photos taken at the session. The photos that the client receives is entirely the photographer's discretion. The amount of photos you receive is not guaranteed. Every session is different and produces varying amounts of finished photos.
Editing-Editing is included in your fee. The photographer will not remove blemishes or do any body slimming without a specific request from the client. Please inform the photographer of any body or face retouching you wish to be completed. Photographer will edit the overall look of the photo at the photographers discretion. All editing is at the photographers discretion. Client may ask for additional editing for $10 per photo.
Bodily harm-You must inform the photographer of any physical limitations. Photographer is not liable for any injuries incurred at the session or in travel to and from the session.
Raw/unedited files-The photographer will not produce any RAW or unedited files. Unedited files are unfinished products and will not be released to the client. The photographer retains all rights to RAW and unedited files.
Refunds-Completed sessions are non-refundable. In the event that the photographer is not able to produce the client’s images, the client can choose to be refunded or schedule retakes at no additional cost. Refunds will not be sent to clients that are unhappy with the results.
Model release-Photographer retains the right to use any and all photographs for business purposes including, websites, advertisements, social media, contests, etc. Model has no right to any monetary or professional gain from their images. Photographer retains all rights to the photos and may use them for any purpose. Photographer maintains full ownership of the images.
Print release-Client may print their images where and however often they would like. Client may share photos online, in galleries and social media without a watermark. Clients may not submit images for personal gain or publication, or sell the images. Client may not present images as their own work. Photos may be used on websites for the client’s personal business.
Photos may be removed from online galleries after 6 months. Please download and save your photos before they are removed.
